Job Description
Cyclonaire Corp., a leading provider of custom pneumatic conveying solutions, is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team. The Project Engineer will be responsible for performing engineering design evaluations, providing technical support to design staff, and contributing to complex aspects of projects. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a solid understanding of 3D modeling and fluid dynamics. The Project Engineer will collaborate with mechanical and electrical design teams, prioritize workload effectively, and ensure design practices align with company values. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Construction Engineering.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preliminary project details, application/process validation, and equipment design constraints.
- Conduct mechanical and electrical engineering calculations/validations.
- Collaborate with design teams to fill information gaps and ensure proper design practices.
- Key Competencies:
- Strong understanding of 3D modeling, fluid dynamics, and machine design.
- Ability to prioritize workload, meet critical timelines, and communicate effectively.
- Education / Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Construction) required.
- Physical Demands: Requires physical activities like touching, grasping, lifting up to 50 pounds, and constant visual ability.
- Work Environment: Clean and climate-controlled office environment within a manufacturing facility.
- Travel Requirements: Travel may be required 5-10% of the time.
- Safety: Adherence to safety protocols and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
