Quality Assurance Lead

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Quality Assurance Lead to join our team at Red River Commodities in Horace, ND. As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will oversee and conduct product testing activities, maintain quality control procedures, and collaborate closely with production teams to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform product and equipment verification tasks.
• Prepare production documents.
• Lead quality technicians when necessary.
• Conduct tests on products and ingredients for quality and allergens.
• Analyze data and communicate findings to production teams.
• Suggest improvements to enhance product quality.
• Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and standards.
• Oversee verification activities on a regular basis.

Qualifications

• Degree in a related field or a minimum of one year of relevant lab/QA experience.
• Familiarity with food manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of quality SOPs and sanitation procedures.
• Understanding of GMP, HACCP, and allergen risk management.
• Strong computer skills including Excel and Word.
• Ability to solve problems and make decisions effectively.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Pass pre-employment drug test.
