Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Radiology Technologist to join Corewell Health, a renowned hospital dedicated to advancing care in Dearborn, Michigan. As part of our team, you will perform diagnostic exams in general radiology, ensuring high-quality images for interpretation. Your role will involve applying radiation protection principles, monitoring patient safety, and providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform accurate diagnostic exams following established procedures.
- Acquire patient history and ensure patient safety during procedures.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and maintain quality control.
- Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and medical professionals.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiography program.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers.
- Ability to perform physical tasks required for the role.
