Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Radiology Technologist to join Corewell Health on a full-time basis. In this role, you will perform accurate diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology, ensuring the best possible images for interpretation. As part of our team, you will uphold our commitment to Patient and Family Centered Care and adhere to radiation protection principles.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following proper procedures and safety measures.
- Document patient history accurately and monitor patients during procedures.
- Ensure timely communication of STAT requests to radiologists.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and maintain quality control standards.
- Provide patient education and procedural information as needed.
- Participate in departmental training and assist in maintaining departmental efficiency.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiography program.
- Must be registered with ARRT within 6 months of hire.
- Current Basic Life Support Certification required.
- Demonstrated ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily.
