Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health on a full-time evening shift. In this role, you will perform high-quality diagnostic exams across various areas of general radiology, ensuring accurate imaging for diagnosis. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong clinical skills, prioritize patient safety, and adhere to radiation protection standards. Moreover, you will contribute to a patient and family-focused care approach and provide clinical instruction when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Perform accurate diagnostic exams following patient verification and physician orders.
- Obtain detailed patient history and document records accordingly.
- Ensure patient safety during procedures and use suitable techniques based on patient capabilities.
- Efficiently operate diagnostic imaging equipment and adhere to quality control protocols.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- Must obtain ARRT certification within 6 months of hire.
- Basic Life Support Certification required.
