Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Radiology Technologist Lead to join our team at Corewell Health in a full-time capacity. As the Radiology Technologist Lead, you will play a crucial role in coordinating general radiology services and ensuring the efficient and safe flow of patients through the imaging process.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily work schedules and ensure optimal patient flow.
- Assist in achieving site and system objectives.
- Demonstrate leadership and conflict resolution skills.
- Communicate effectively with medical staff, management, and support teams.
- Perform necessary quality assurance and control on equipment.
- Train new staff and students.
- Maintain equipment and cleanliness in exam rooms.
Essential Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiography program.
- 3-5 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Basic Life Support Certification required.
Working Conditions
The position requires physical effort, simple and moderately difficult manipulative skills, gross body coordination, and various levels of visual and auditory acuity. Exposure to ionizing radiation and hazardous materials may occur.
