Receiver

Job Description

We are looking for a Receiver to join Koopman Lumber Co at our Uxbridge, MA Distribution Center. In this role, you will be responsible for unloading incoming lumber and building materials trucks using a forklift, stocking and putting away products, as well as tracking inventory in Bistrack. Additionally, you will supervise other receiving employees to ensure efficient workflow throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Supervise receiving team, delegate tasks, and ensure proper execution.
• Unload and stock lumber, building materials, and hardware trucks.
• Use Bistrack to manage inventory and match paperwork.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
• Communicate with purchasing department regarding issues and transfers.
• Cycle count products and rotate inventory as needed.

Requirements

• Proficient in forklift operation and safety.
• Ability to read and understand vendor and internal paperwork.
• Self-starter with the capacity to work independently.
• Computer literate and able to learn inventory management systems.
• Familiarity with hardware and building materials.
• Capable of lifting up to 75lbs and working in various weather conditions.
