Receiver

Job Description

We are looking for a Receiver to join our team at Koopman Lumber Co in Uxbridge, MA. As a Receiver, you will be responsible for safely unloading lumber and building materials, managing inventory using Bistrack, supervising receiving tasks, and ensuring a clean and organized warehouse space.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift efficiently and safely to unload incoming trucks.
• Supervise receiving employees, delegate tasks, and ensure completion.
• Inspect, stock, and put away lumber and building materials.
• Utilize Bistrack for inventory tracking and match paperwork accurately.
• Maintain a safe and clean lumber yard environment.
• Communicate effectively with the purchasing department.
• Conduct inventory rotations and cycle counts as needed.

Requirements

• Experience operating a forklift.
• Ability to read and understand vendor and internal paperwork.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Proficient in basic computer operations and inventory management software.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
