Overview
Voices of Hope – Lexington, Inc. is a non-profit Recovery Community Organization dedicated to supporting individuals in recovery from substance use disorder. As a Recovery Coach, you will play a crucial role in providing guidance, advocacy, and motivation to individuals on their journey to sustained recovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide recovery education and support individuals in developing personalized recovery plans.
- Promote self-advocacy and link participants to essential resources.
- Monitor participant progress and maintain records in compliance with reporting requirements.
- Lead group meetings and provide support to diverse populations.
Qualifications
- Experience with addiction recovery processes.
- Knowledge of opioid use disorder and recovery cultures.
- Ability to work with diverse populations and maintain cultural humility.
- Demonstrated skills in active listening, motivational interviewing, and leadership.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Basic computer skills and willingness to complete provided training.
- Valid driver's license for positions requiring driving.
Working Hours and Travel
Flexibility in schedule and reliable transportation are required for this position.
Compensation
$17-$17 Hourly Wage
