Job Description

Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services is currently seeking a detail-oriented Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN) to join our team on a part-time weekend basis. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of patient care by supervising the facility and directing the nursing staff during your shift. Additionally, you will assist the Director of Nursing in directing, coordinating, and supervising the Nursing Services Department.

Responsibilities

• Assure the best patient care by supervising and directing the nursing staff.
• Coordinate and supervise the Nursing Services Department.
• Ensure nursing services align with regulations and facility policies.
• Supervise and assist Nurses during acute episodes.
• Handle employee issues in a timely manner and document actions taken.
• Assume on-call responsibilities as necessary.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school graduate.
• Registered Nurse with a valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• Provide quality nursing care to patients with a focus on geriatric nursing.
• CPR certified yearly.
• Long Term Care experience preferred.
