Job Description

Responsibilities
- Assure quality nursing care for patients following physician's orders and facility policies.
- Administer medications as ordered and according to protocols.
- Lead, guide, and supervise nursing assistants and orderlies.
- Assist physicians during rounds and treatments.
- Perform scheduled treatments, maintain infection control measures, and adhere to cleanliness standards.
- Conduct research related to nursing care quality.
- Assist with admissions, physicals, and documentation as needed.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with a valid RN license.
- Provide high-quality nursing care following physician orders with a focus on geriatric nursing.
- Renew CPR certification yearly and attend required training and meetings.
- Supervise nursing assistants effectively and collaborate well with the medical team and patients.
- Demonstrate sound decision-making abilities in nursing problem-solving.
