Job Description
Join Liberty Healthcare Management as a Registered Nurse (RN) at Highland House. In this role, you will be responsible for providing quality nursing care to patients, administering medications, leading and supervising nursing assistants, and assisting physicians as needed. You will ensure compliance with regulations, maintain infection control measures, and participate in research to enhance nursing care quality.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality nursing care following physician's orders and facility procedures.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by physicians.
- Lead and supervise nursing assistants and orderlies.
- Assist physicians during rounds, examinations, and treatments.
- Maintain infection control measures and adhere to cleanliness standards.
- Participate in research to improve nursing care quality.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and a Registered Nurse.
- Current and valid North Carolina Board of Nursing license.
- Genuine interest in providing quality geriatric nursing care.
- CPR certification and participation in in-service training.
- Ability to work collaboratively with nursing staff, other departments, and patients.
- Strong decision-making skills and attention to detail.
