Job Description

Join Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services as a Registered Nurse at Mary Gran facility. As a crucial member of our dedicated team, you will be responsible for ensuring quality nursing care for patients, administering medications, supervising support staff, and collaborating with physicians for optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care following physician's orders, state and federal regulations, and facility policies.
• Administer medications as prescribed and in adherence with facility protocols.
• Lead, guide, and supervise nursing assistants and orderlies.
• Assist physicians during rounds, examinations, and treatments as needed.
• Perform scheduled treatments, maintain infection control measures, and ensure cleanliness standards.
• Assist with research on nursing care quality and handle documentation for patient admissions.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with a current RN license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• Demonstrate genuine interest in geriatric nursing and CPR certification.
• Attend required in-service training and staff meetings.
• Supervise nursing assistants effectively and collaborate well with all healthcare team members.
• Possess decision-making skills and ability to handle nursing problems with care and responsibility.
