Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN)-Float,Nights to join our team at Denver Health. Our float pool comprises skilled nurses and CNAs proficient in various medical/surgical areas, offering a dynamic and diverse work environment. As a float nurse, you will rotate across in-patient units and the Emergency Department, providing high-quality care in alignment with professional standards and ethics.

Essential Functions

• Assess individuals, families, and communities for health and safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate records and reports on patient conditions.
• Monitor symptoms, vital signs, and modify care plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure excellence in patient care and safety.
• Administer medication, provide patient education, and promote a positive patient experience.

Requirements

• Post High School Diploma or Certificate Program.
• 1-3 years of experience in direct patient care.
• Active RN license issued by the Department of Regulatory Agencies.
• Proficiency in medical equipment use, effective communication, and Microsoft Office Suite.
