Registered Nurse - RN - Psych

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with a focus on psychiatric care to join our team at CareerStaff Unlimited in Austin, TX. As an RN in this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with psychiatric disorders, supporting their well-being and participating in a multidisciplinary treatment approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality general and psychiatric nursing care to patients with emotional or psychiatric disorders.
• Collaborate as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team to support the organization's philosophy of care.
• Assess and evaluate patient care needs, administer medication, and coordinate patient discharge planning.
• Record and communicate patient conditions, educate patients and families, and ensure culturally appropriate care.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of inpatient psychiatric experience.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing and a valid State RN License.
• Previous psych experience preferred, BLS certification, and eligibility to work in the United States.
