Responsibilities
- Ensure quality nursing care by following physician's orders, state/federal regulations, and facility policies.
- Administer medications as prescribed and supervise nursing assistants.
- Assist physicians during rounds, examinations, and treatments.
- Perform scheduled treatments, maintain infection control, and adhere to regulations.
- Conduct research related to nursing care quality as assigned.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and hold a current RN license.
- Provide quality care, follow orders, and show a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
- Maintain CPR certification, attend training, and staff meetings regularly.
- Supervise nursing assistants effectively and collaborate well with colleagues.
- Demonstrate sound decision-making and strong interpersonal skills.
