REGISTERED NURSE SUPERVISOR (RN) - SUMMERSTONE HEALTH AND REHAB CENTER

Job Description

We are currently looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN) to join our team at Summerstone Health and Rehab Center. As the RN Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the best possible care for our patients by supervising the facility and leading the nursing staff during your shift. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Director of Nursing to oversee and coordinate the Nursing Services Department. This position requires a compassionate individual who is committed to upholding the highest standards of patient care and is able to handle employee issues effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the nursing staff and ensure quality patient care.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to oversee the Nursing Services Department.
• Adhere to all relevant regulations and policies to maintain a safe and compliant environment.
• Handle acute patient episodes and provide assistance to nursing staff as needed.
• Address employee problems promptly and document actions taken.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities as required.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the management.

Requirements

• High school graduate.
• Registered Nurse with a valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• Prior experience in long-term care is preferred.
• CPR certification required annually.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate nursing staff effectively.
• Strong knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Commitment to providing quality care to patients.
