REGISTERED NURSE - THREE RIVERS HEALTH AND REHABILITATION CENTER

Job Description

We are currently seeking dedicated and experienced Registered Nurses to join our team at Three Rivers Health and Rehabilitation Center, part of Liberty Healthcare Management. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assuring quality nursing care for patients, administering medications, supervising support staff, and collaborating with physicians for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assure quality nursing care for patients according to physician’s orders and facility policies.
• Administer medications as prescribed and maintain infection control measures.
• Supervise and guide nursing assistants and orderlies in providing excellent patient care.
• Assist physicians during rounds, examinations, and treatments.
• Document patient treatments accurately and assist with research related to nursing care quality.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a valid RN license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• Ability to provide quality nursing care, follow doctor's orders, and demonstrate a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
• Current CPR certification and willingness to attend in-service training and staff meetings.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work well with nursing personnel, other departments, patients, and families.
• Critical thinking skills to make sound decisions regarding patient care.
