Job Description
We are looking for a Safety Manager to join MarBorg Industries in a full-time exempt position. The Safety Manager will oversee safety, health, and environmental initiatives across our locations to ensure compliance with regulations and drive continuous improvement. If you have experience in managing EHS regulations, incident investigations, and regulatory interactions, we want to hear from you. This role offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 - $138,000 annually with a rich benefit package.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain safety and environmental policies in compliance with regulations.
- Provide EHS leadership and direction to management and staff.
- Establish and lead safety initiatives, trainings, and compliance efforts.
- Develop emergency response procedures and safety training calendars.
- Conduct safety and environmental inspections and maintain necessary permits.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in EHS in a related industry.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws including DOT, OSHA, and EPA regulations.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field; master's degree preferred.
Qualifications
- Ability to travel to designated facilities as needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) a plus.
