Job Description

We are looking for a Sales Associate to join our City Experiences team in Chicago, IL. City Experiences is dedicated to providing incredible experiences on both land and water, welcoming over 30 million guests annually. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in driving sales efforts, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maximizing revenue opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of regional vessels, products, pricing, and scripting to effectively promote sales.
  • Reach weekly prospecting targets through proactive outreach to identify warm leads.
  • Handle inbound leads promptly and engage with potential clients before transitioning to account managers.
  • Present pricing persuasively to increase sales and address objections using product knowledge.
  • Carry out post-sales activities, such as making passenger count adjustments and upselling to drive additional revenue.
  • Conduct site visits, network at events, and support account managers to enhance local market awareness.
  • Coordinate events after sales closure, ensuring a seamless experience for guests and effective communication with operations teams.
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM to plan and manage sales activities effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with at least 1 year of experience in a sales or support role.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a detail-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
