Senior Applications Engineer

Job Description

Bearings Plus, a leader in fluid film bearings and sealing solutions, is seeking a highly qualified Senior Applications Engineer to join our team at Dover Precision Components. As a BPI Bearing Engineer, you will be responsible for executing repair orders, designing new parts, conducting root cause analysis, and developing engineered solutions for customer projects. If you have a Master's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, extensive experience in rotating equipment design, and proficiency in simulation software and 3D CAD, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering proposals for new, repair, and retrofit projects.
• Develop strong customer relationships and participate in technical discussions and meetings.
• Conduct Rotor Dynamic Analysis and bearing calculations for field issues.
• Support engineering process development and lead training seminars.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in rotating equipment design.
• Proficiency in NASTRAN/ANSYS, MATLAB, and 3D CAD.
• Experience with root cause analysis and measurement tools.
