Job Description
We are looking for a talented Senior Commercial Services Power Marketer to join our team at PacifiCorp in Portland, Oregon. In this role, you will lead the negotiation and execution of renewable development and acquisition opportunities, playing a vital role in shaping our resource and commercial strategies.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage relationships with commercial counterparties.
- Research and pursue creative deal structures for renewable resources.
- Lead negotiations of commercial terms in energy commodity contracts.
- Implement qualifying facility power purchase agreements.
- Conduct market intelligence to identify new commercial opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in the energy industry.
- Strong negotiation and economic evaluation skills.
- Familiarity with power system and wholesale power markets.
Preferences
- Advanced degree.
- Knowledge of WSPP, EEI, and ISDA Master Agreements.
- Experience testifying in front of state regulatory commissions.
