Civista Bank is looking for a dedicated Senior Mortgage Lender to join our team. As a Senior Mortgage Lender, you will play a vital role in originating first mortgage loans, promoting our lending services, and addressing the financial needs of our community. Key Responsibilities

• Travel to solicit first mortgage and home equity loans through referral partners and community activities.
• Meet with customers at various locations and assist with loan applications.
• Screen loan requests, propose various loan options, and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Keep abreast of new legislation affecting residential lending policies.
• Actively engage in local business and community activities.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of Mortgage Lending experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Finance preferred.
• Strong knowledge of banking industry practices and compliance.
• Proficiency in computer literacy and data entry.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Requirements

• Regular engagement away from the bank to obtain sales.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under varied deadlines.
• Willingness to travel to meetings and real estate office visits.
