Senior School Mathematics Teacher (2024-25 School Year)

Job Description

Sewickley Academy is seeking a Mathematics teacher with a strong academic background and teaching experience to join our Senior School team for the 2024-25 school year. As a member of our dedicated faculty, you will teach courses such as AP Calculus AB/BC and Multivariable Calculus, foster student success, and contribute to the vibrant academic environment.

Responsibilities

• Share commitment to the Academy's mission and goals.
• Set high expectations for student achievement and personal performance.
• Deliver quality content and instruction to meet academic standards.
• Participate in continuous learning tied to student and school goals.
• Teach five sections of various grade-level courses.
• Act as a Senior School advisor and fulfill additional responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Mathematics Education required, Master's degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of secondary teaching experience ideal.
