Senior Special Procedure Tech

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Special Procedure Tech to join our team at Corewell Health. In this role, you will provide direct care to patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures, assist physicians, and deliver exceptional patient/family-centered care. Responsibilities include monitoring patients, performing IV starts, operating equipment, documenting procedures, and ensuring radiation safety standards. The ideal candidate will have more than 3 years of Interventional experience and possess the necessary certifications and registrations for IR, Cath Lab, or EP Lab.

Essential Duties

• Monitor patients during procedures and provide technical support.
• Perform quality assurance checks on equipment and maintain safety standards.
• Take on-call duties per department schedule and may provide training to less experienced techs.

Qualifications

• Education/Training: Completion of an accredited program in the relevant specialty.
• Work Experience: Minimum 3+ years of Interventional experience.
• Certification/Licensure/Registration: Required certifications for IR, Cath Lab, or EP Lab.
• Other Qualifications: Strong communication, computer, and customer service skills.
