Are you an experienced trades professional looking to make a significant impact in the construction industry? Home Builders Institute Inc is seeking a motivated Skilled Trades Instructor - Electrical to join our team. As an Instructor, you will provide hands-on training, classroom instruction, and mentorship to individuals aged 16-24 in our various programs. Your role will be crucial in shaping the next generation of trades professionals by instilling essential technical skills, safety practices, and a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver trade skills instruction using approved curriculum.
• Develop and enhance training materials as necessary.
• Organize and supervise hands-on training sessions, including on-site and community projects.
• Demonstrate proper tool and equipment usage with a focus on safety.
• Assist in student recruitment, placement, and career readiness training.
• Mentor and support students throughout their learning journey.
• Forge positive relationships with funders, partners, and employers.
• Manage classroom activities and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Journey-level experience in Electrical trades.
• Capability to meet Career Technical Training requirements.
• Strong commitment to maintaining a safe learning environment.

Working Conditions

This position involves standard office work with occasional physical demands such as walking and standing. Limited travel may be required. HBI prioritizes health and safety, and vaccination compliance may be necessary in certain program locations.
