Job Description
We are currently seeking a compassionate Social Worker to join LifeBridge Health at Levindale Hospital in Baltimore, MD. As part of our Allied Health team, you will provide clinical social work services and psychosocial assessments to patients/residents and families, addressing various challenges such as adjustment to institutional living, financial concerns, family relationships, and end-of-life counseling.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and provide counseling to patients and families.
- Address issues related to aging, medical procedures, financial difficulties, and end-of-life planning.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Advocate for patients' needs and rights.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Social Work (BSW) required; Master's degree preferred.
- Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C) preferred.
- Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) certification.
