Job Description
We are looking for a passionate Social Worker to join LifeBridge Health in Baltimore, MD. As a member of our team, you will provide clinical social work services and psychosocial assessments to patients and families, addressing various challenges such as adjustment to institutional living, financial concerns, and counseling related to death and dying.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychosocial assessments for patients and families.
- Provide counseling and support for individuals facing medical and emotional challenges.
- Assist with discharge planning and facilitate coping strategies.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to address patient needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Social Work (BSW) required; Master's degree preferred.
- LCSW-C preferred; LGSW certification also accepted.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
