Job Description
We are currently looking for a Full-time Social Worker to join LifeBridge Health at Levindale Hospital in Baltimore, MD. As a member of our Allied Health team, you will have the opportunity to provide clinical social work services and psychosocial assessments to patients/residents and their families, addressing various adjustment issues and counseling needs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and provide clinical social work services to address patient and family needs.
- Assist patients in adapting to institutional living and navigating financial concerns.
- Provide counseling and guidance on medical diagnoses, treatment procedures, and discharge planning.
- Offer support and counseling related to aging, powerlessness, and end-of-life issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Social Work (BSW) required; Master's degree preferred.
- Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C) preferred.
- Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) certification.
