SOCIAL WORKER

Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join LifeBridge Health's team at Levindale Hospital in Baltimore, MD. As a full-time Social Worker, you will provide clinical social work services and psychosocial assessments to patients, families, and residents, addressing a range of common issues such as adjustment to institutional living, financial concerns, and counseling related to various life challenges. It is a day shift position from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with additional requirements including a Bachelor's in Social Work (BSW) with preference for a Master's degree and LCSW-C certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical social work services and psychosocial assessments.
• Assist patients and families with adjustment and coping strategies.
• Participate in discharge planning and end-of-life counseling.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to address patient needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Social Work (BSW).
• Master's degree preferred.
• LCSW-C certification preferred.
• LGSW certification.
