Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Social Worker to join LifeBridge Health, a leading healthcare provider in Maryland. In this full-time role at Levindale Hospital in Baltimore, you will provide essential clinical social work services and psychosocial assessments to patients, focusing on various common challenges such as adjustment to institutional living, financial concerns, family relationships, and more. This position requires a Bachelor's in Social Work (BSW), with a preference for a Master's degree and LCSW-C certification.
Responsibilities
- Offer clinical social work services and psychosocial assessments to patients and families.
- Address common issues including adjustment to institutional living, financial concerns, and discharge planning.
- Provide counseling and support regarding death and dying processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Social Work (BSW) required; Master's degree and LCSW-C certification preferred.
- LGSW certification is desirable.
- Prior experience in healthcare or clinical settings is advantageous.
