Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join our dynamic team at LifeBridge Health. This full-time position, based in Baltimore, MD at SINAI HOSPITAL, offers the opportunity to work in PSYCHIATRY INPATIENT with day shift hours from 8:00am to 4:30pm.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate psychosocial assessment and discharge planning for inpatient psychiatric patients/clients.
- Provide leadership and psychosocial support to address individual needs throughout the care continuum.
- Utilize knowledge of community and health care resources for timely and appropriate interventions.
- Facilitate quality resource utilization to optimize length of stay and level of care.
Requirements
- Master's degree in social work, psychology, or related field.
- 3-5 years of professional experience.
- Maryland Licensure LCSW-C or LCPC.
- Experience in conducting unit or departmental work groups and meetings.
- Ability to supervise MSW interns as a field instructor.
