Job Description
We are looking for a highly experienced Software Development Engineer to join our newly formed EC2 Networking team at Amazon Web Services. As a leader in this team, you will play a crucial role in driving a new business initiative focusing on empowering the rapid analysis of peta-scale EC2 network and providing high-availability control & distribution plane services essential for network connectivity within EC2.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a small team of engineers, ensuring the adoption of best development practices.
- Hands-on involvement in day-to-day development activities, including architecture decisions, design reviews, and code implementation.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and collaborate with the team on integrating new solutions.
- Engage with users, technical teams, and senior management to gather requirements and communicate product features and strategies.

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one software programming language.
