Job Description
We are looking for a Software Development Engineer to join the newly formed EC2 Networking team at Amazon Web Services. This role involves leading a team working on a new business initiative to enhance the analysis capabilities for petabyte-scale EC2 network and provide reliable control plane services for critical network connectivity in EC2.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers and mentor junior members.
- Drive architecture decisions and participate in design and code reviews.
- Stay abreast of new technologies and collaborate with management on their implementation.
- Engage with users, technical teams, and senior management to gather requirements and define product features.

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Experience in leading design or architecture of systems.
- Prior experience as a mentor, tech lead, or team leader.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
