Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Software Development Engineer to join our team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. You will play a pivotal role in a newly formed EC2 Networking team, contributing towards a new business initiative to enhance EC2 network analysis and provide critical control & distribution plane services.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a small team of engineers, ensuring the adoption of best development practices.
- Drive architecture decisions, participate in designs, code reviews, and implementations.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and collaborate with the team in implementing new solutions.
- Communicate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define features, and shape product strategy.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Prior experience in leading design or architecture of new systems.
- Track record as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader.
Location
This position is open to candidates in Seattle, WA, USA.
Compensation
Base salary ranges from $134,500/year to $261,500/year based on geographic location and experience.
