Job Description
We are looking for a Software Development Engineer to join our newly formed EC2 Networking team at Amazon Web Services. As an engineering Leader, you will play a crucial role in defining and building the future of cloud computing, focusing on EC2 Network telemetry and Classic Control Plane. Your responsibilities will include mentoring junior engineers, leading architecture decisions, and collaborating with other technical teams to drive game-changing improvements in our services. This position offers an opportunity to work at scale, learn from industry experts, and contribute to high-availability systems globally.
Responsibilities
- Mentor junior engineers and ensure proper development practices.
- Lead architecture decisions, participate in design and code reviews.
- Maintain technical knowledge and explore new technologies.
- Communicate with users, technical teams, and senior management to gather requirements.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience leading design and architecture of new systems.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Experience with full software development life cycle.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
