Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Software Development Engineer to join our team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. This position is part of a newly formed EC2 Networking team working on empowering rapid analysis for peta-scale EC2 network and providing critical network connectivity in EC2. As a Senior SDE, you will lead a team and contribute to a new business initiative while influencing the direction of our services.
Responsibilities
- Mentor junior engineers and ensure proper development practices are followed.
- Lead architecture decisions and participate in designs, code reviews, and implementation.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and collaborate with the team to introduce new tech innovations.
- Interact with users, technical teams, and senior management to gather requirements and define product features.

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one software programming language.

Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
