Job Description
We are looking for a highly experienced Software Development Engineer to join our team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. This is a full-time position based in Blackfoot, focused on AWS EC2-Network telemetry and Classic Control Plane. As a key member of the newly formed EC2 Networking team, you will lead a group working on innovative initiatives to enhance EC2 network analysis and provide crucial network connectivity services.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers in developing and maintaining high-performance network services.
- Mentor junior team members and enforce best development practices.
- Stay current with technology trends to propose and implement new solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define product strategy.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Expertise in at least one programming language with experience in leading design and architecture.
- Prior experience as a mentor or leading engineering teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
