Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Software Development Engineer to join our EC2 Networking team at Amazon Web Services. In this role, you will lead a team working on a new business initiative to enhance analysis capabilities for peta-scale EC2 networks and provide high-availability control & distribution plane services.
Responsibilities
- Lead a small team, mentor junior engineers, and ensure adherence to development best practices.
- Drive day-to-day development activities, participate in design and code reviews, and make architecture decisions.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, propose and implement new solutions, and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Communicate with users, technical teams, and management to gather requirements, define features, and align on product strategy.

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language and leading system design or architecture projects.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
