Job Description
We are looking for a Software Development Engineer to join our Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. team in Blackfoot. In this full-time role, you will be a key part of the EC2-Network telemetry and Classic Control Plane project at Amazon Web Services. As a leader in this newly formed EC2 Networking team, you will play a vital role in revolutionizing cloud computing and network services.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team working on peta-scale EC2 network analysis and distribution services.
- Mentor junior engineers and ensure adherence to best development practices.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Collaborate with multiple teams to gather requirements and drive product strategy.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Experience in designing and scaling systems.
- Prior tech lead, mentorship, or team leadership experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Full software development life cycle knowledge.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
