Job Description
We are looking for a Software Development Engineer to join our team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. This is a full-time position located in Blackfoot focusing on AWS EC2-Network telemetry and Classic Control Plane. As a key member of a newly formed EC2 Networking team, you will lead a group working on an innovative project to enhance EC2 network analysis and provide high availability control & distribution plane services.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team and contribute to a new business initiative for EC2 network enhancement.
- Mentor junior engineers and ensure adherence to best development practices.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and propose their adoption.
- Collaborate with various teams to gather requirements and strategize product features.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proven track record in software programming, design patterns, and system scaling.
- Prior experience in mentoring or leading engineering teams.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
