Software Development Engineer - Blackfoot (AWS), EC2-Network telemetry and Classic Control Plane
We are looking for an experienced engineering leader to join the Amazon Web Services team. This role involves leading a team in a newly formed EC2 Networking group to empower rapid analysis for peta-scale EC2 networks and provide highly available control and distribution plane services for critical network connectivity.
Responsibilities
- Lead a small team and mentor junior engineers.
- Manage day-to-day development activities, architecture decisions, and design reviews.
- Stay updated on new technologies and collaborate with teams to implement them.
- Interact with users, technical teams, and senior management to gather requirements and define product features.

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency with at least one software programming language.
- Experience in leading design or architecture of systems.

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
