Job Description
Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a talented Senior Mainframe Modernization Architect to join our Partner Solution Architecture team. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping and delivering Amazon's mainframe migration and modernization strategy across the GSI community. As a strategic advisor to our partners, you will drive the overall technical strategy, align partners with the modernization approach, and create joint offerings to deliver high-value propositions to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive AWS mainframe technical strategy.
- Enable partners with modernization approach and methodology.
- Create joint offerings with AWS services and partners.
- Advise customers and sales teams on modernization approaches.
- Showcase customer success through case studies.
- Provide architectural guidance for successful engagements.
- Share best-practice knowledge with the Solution Architect community.
- Compose technical content and deliver presentations.
Location and Benefits

Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of technology domain experience.
- 3+ years in design, implementation, or consulting.
- 10+ years in IT development or implementation/consulting.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of infrastructure and networking experience.
- Knowledge of SAP systems.
- Experience with end user or developer communities.
