Superintendent

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Superintendent to join our construction team at T.W. Frierson Contractor. As a Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the activities of commercial/industrial construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meeting design specifications.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate construction project activities.
• Coordinate work with various crafts and subcontractors.
• Maintain open communication with the design team, Project Manager, clients, and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with safety rules and procedures.
• Work flexible hours to meet project demands.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in commercial construction, with 5 years in a similar role.
• Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Proficiency in reading and implementing construction documents.
• Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills.
• Proficient in relevant software tools.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
