Training Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Training Manager to join our team at Maintainer Corp of Iowa. As a Training Manager, you will be responsible for identifying training needs, creating customized training plans, and implementing a variety of training methods to enhance employee skills and performance. You will oversee a team of Trainers, monitor training program effectiveness, manage the training budget, and stay updated on the latest training trends and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Identify current and future training needs through various methods.
• Create tailored training plans to meet organizational requirements.
• Implement diverse training methods and conduct orientation sessions.
• Monitor and evaluate training program effectiveness and ROI.
• Manage the training budget and provide ongoing development opportunities.
• Stay informed about training trends and best practices.
• Supervise and appraise the performance of the training team.
• Collaborate with other departments and produce training-related documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, education, or related field.
• Proven track record in designing and executing successful training programs.
• Proficiency in both traditional and modern training methods.
• Strong communication, leadership, and time-management skills.
• Excellent writing and record-keeping abilities.
• Good computer skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Physical Demands

This role requires the ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds, as well as sitting, standing, and using a computer. The role may involve exposure to moving mechanical parts and airborne particulates.
