Traveling Orthodontic Assistant

Job Description

San Antonio Orthodontics is seeking a dedicated and passionate Traveling Orthodontic Assistant to join our team part-time. This exciting opportunity involves traveling with the team to various locations in the San Antonio market on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9 am to 5 pm. Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and treatment rooms for orthodontic procedures
• Sterilize instruments and ensure proper cleaning of treatment rooms
• Record patients' medical and dental histories in Orthotrac
• Assist the Orthodontist during procedures
• Utilize the Itero Scanner regularly
• Create impressions, fabricate custom trays, and make retainers
• Assist with X-rays as required
• Schedule follow-up treatment and adjustment appointments
• Deliver exceptional patient experiences
• Participate in monthly team meetings

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of orthodontic dental assisting or related experience
• State-specific licenses or certifications as needed
• Current CPR certification
• Active X-Ray license

Compensation

Hourly Wage: $19-20
