Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Ultrasonographer to join Corewell Health's team on a full-time basis. As an Ultrasonographer, you will be responsible for performing accurate and efficient Ultrasound exams under the guidance of our site leader. You will play a crucial role in providing high-quality images for interpretation while upholding our commitment to Patient and Family Centered Care.
Responsibilities
- Verify patient identification and physician orders.
- Perform Ultrasound exams following established procedures and protocols.
- Operate ultrasound imaging equipment proficiently and ensure quality control.
- Monitor patient safety during procedures and assist with sterile techniques when necessary.
- Interact effectively with medical staff and support team members.
Requirements
- Graduate of Diagnostic Ultrasound Program or equivalent.
- Registered by American Registry Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registry eligible.
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers.
