Warehouse Lead Job Description
RJ Schinner Co, a well-established wholesale redistributor, is seeking a Warehouse Lead to join their team. This full-time position on the 1st shift requires effective leadership skills to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead the warehouse team by assigning tasks, providing training, and support.
- Maintain shipping records and ensure proper handling of merchandise.
- Establish positive relationships with customers, vendors, and delivery drivers.
- Perform safety checks, verify inventory levels, and manage warehouse operations.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety measures and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse and forklift experience.
- Effective interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and operate powered industrial trucks.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and adaptable to environmental conditions.
- Experience with Eclipse Warehouse Management System is preferred.
