Responsibilities
- Sell banquets and banquet services to organizations and individuals.
- Use suggestive selling techniques to enhance group programs and increase revenues.
- Plan, sell, and coordinate weddings.
- Respond to inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Prepare detailed banquet event orders and ensure smooth function execution.
- Collaborate with various departments to meet client expectations.
- Coordinate audio-visual services for events as needed.
- Attend catering and sales meetings as required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience in wedding planning in a resort/hotel setting.
- High School diploma, college degree, or equivalent experience in food and beverage marketing.
- Demonstrated sales and supervisory experience in the hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in Springer Miller, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Delphi.
- Valid driver's license.
Working Environment
The role involves a combination of indoor and outdoor work, with exposure to varying weather conditions and moderate to loud noise levels. Candidates should be physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds. Strong vision abilities are required.
