Job Description
Weekend Night Crew - Machine Operator
Join our team at Advanced Fiber Products, a leading custom fiberglass pultrusions company based in La Crosse, WI. We are looking for dedicated individuals to work as Machine Operators on weekends. Responsibilities
- Handle fiberglass material.
- Maintain material on production machines.
- Read setup sheets and production orders to determine materials, machine speeds, and quality requirements.
- Conduct quality inspections during the product run.
- Operate measuring devices like tape measures and calipers.
- Ensure proper setup and shutdown procedures for product runs.
- Clean and adjust production tooling and equipment.
- Operate control panels on Pultrusion machines.
- Participate in cross-training within the plant floor.
- Adhere to safety procedures and wear protective equipment.
- Work overtime as needed.
Minimum Job Requirements
- Prior experience in operating mechanical equipment.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and reading measuring devices.
- Ability to understand setup sheets, production orders, and resin formulations.
- Physical ability to lift objects weighing 2-50 lbs, stand for long periods, and comply with safety regulations.
Compensation Details
Hourly wage: $21-23
